Some Ballpark FiguresA personal web page can be as little as $250 and if you take care of your own Domain Registration, DNS pointing and Hosting arrangements, you can put it online for a year for another $150 or so. A small business web page without shopping features can run anywhere from $500 and up, depending on the number of pages and the amount of content. Typical eCommerce site with 50 to 100 items for sale and 15 pages, fully operational shopping cart and shipping calculator, contact pages and one newsletter/mailing list database will run around $2000 to $3000 dollars. It can be more if we have to photograph the items and provide copy to describe every item. If your needs are smaller, we can put a small eCommerce site with limited items and stripped down presentation up online for less than a thousand dollars. A typical CMS site with multiple features and fully scalable content (ability to add almost unlimited number of articles, photos, video, sale items, etc.) runs $3000 to $4000. Those prices are just estimated ballpark figures. Any project can be lower or higher depending on just what it entails. Non-profit OrganizationsIf you are a non-profit organization (a legitimately incorporated non-profit, not just a business making no profit) we will discount our prices. We will work through the intial consultation process the same way as normal but when we arrive at the contract price we will then discount it by 25%.

If it will fit your needs, the least expensive option for a web presence can undoubtedly be a static HTML site. Don't misunderstand, the term "static site" simply means the pages themselves are created and stored on the server and then the user's browser calls up the entire "static" page when it visits the site. A "static HTML site" can still have lots of interesting features, slide shows, and even flash or video features,

Content Management Sites, or CMS, are so flexible, dynamic and scalable that it is impossible to set static prices. If you are interested in a CMS site (and if you want a cutting edge site with maximum flexibility you should really consider one) we will work with you and follow a basic workflow to arrive at a firm contract and price based on the site you want created before we begin.
We will meet with you, find out exactly what you have in mind, work up a mock-up and design ideas, present that to you, set a price for the project, sign a contract with you and move ahead with the design.
